This year’s Shemer Arizona Arts Festival delivered great weather, crowds and the perfect way to celebrate art in Arizona! Over 40 artists from all across Arizona were featured, as well as their one-of-a-kind works of art, plus hourly artist demonstrations included potters from AZ Clay, Laurie Nessel from the Arizona Glass Alliance, blacksmiths Rodger & Jason LaBrash, Ron Wicklund, Steve (and others) from the Arizona Blacksmiths Association, and participating artists Steve Bunyard (wheel throwing), John Erwin (watercolor techniques), Sandy Blain (ceramic form and surface) and Dave Hanson (mosaic). Sam Pillsbury was even here, talking about the art of wine and the Pillsbury Wine Co! There was also a Kids Zone with interactive arts activities that entertained nearly 300 kids, balloon sculptures by Fritz Pender on Saturday, an amazing silent auction, live music by musicians Alan Jones and Alan Stee, and our awesome food & beverage vendors (Chef Wade’s Mac N Cheese amd Eur Haus!

This year’s event really had it all, even down to a golf-cart shuttle by Bunny Rides! THANK YOU to all our artists and vendors and event partners who participated to make this event great. Of course THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to all of our event volunteers, who we could not have done this without!!! We hope everyone will join us for next year’s 2020 Shemer Arizona Arts Festival on Saturday AND Sunday, November 7 & 8, 2020! Enjoy the photos below, taken by Darryl Webb! (to enlarge just click)
