Art in the Garden

Saturday & Sunday, March 28 & 29, 2026

10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Set on our front lawn in our beautiful sculpture garden, this fun, mid-morning and afternoon event will feature a colorful display of garden-themed artist tents with bright umbrellas, live music, food and beverages, and a silent auction.   Admission: FREE!

Sparkling Tea

Saturday, March 28, 2026 | 1-3 p.m.

As part of our annual Art in the Garden event we host a ticketed Sparkling Tea. A shade structure created of colorful umbrellas set the tone for this afternoon tea, to be held on our back, garden patio. Live music and a menu of scones, finger sandwiches and petite pastries will be complemented by a short program with guest speakers, and of course, tea and a “sparking accompaniment!” An award is also presented during the tea for the most artistic garden hat!

Funds raised from the Sparkling Tea will be used to help support the Shemer Art Center’s Summer Camps, held for four weeks in June, to help underwrite the cost of scholarships, instructors and supplies.

Saturday & Sunday, November 7 & 8, 2026 | 10 am – 4 pm

The Shemer Art Center is pleased to announce the dates of its 2026 Shemer Arizona Arts Festival, held every year just in time to kick-off holiday shopping!

This two-day festival, scheduled for Saturday & Sunday, November 7 & 8, 2025, will once again feature works of art created in a variety of mediums by over 40 Arizona artists! Each day, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. this event will also feature art demonstrations, Arizona authors, an interactive $5 Art Zone, live music, food & beverage vendors, and a silent auction! Additional activities planned include the fourth year of the Shemer’s signature Sidewalk Chalk Festival.

Initially established in 1988 as Sunday @ Shemer, this long-time event is unique in that it showcases only Arizona artists. Each year it serves as one of four fundraising events held to support the programming and exhibitions held at the non-profit Shemer Art Center. In addition to welcoming new visitors, this event demonstrates the Shemer’s mission and dedication to showcasing and supporting Arizona artists, which it has been doing since 1984!
