Painting for Teens with Amanda Adkins

Each Wednesday in September, instructor Amanda Adkins will guide students, ages 10 – 15, through a different painting project!

Students will be working with watercolor and acrylics. While students learn new painting techniques and tricks, students will be encouraged to have fun and express themselves creatively!

Wednesdays,  October 2 – October 30, 2024 | 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. | 5 Sessions | $125

Materials Fee: $10 paid to instructor on first day of class

AFTER SCHOOL ART CLUB with Amanda Adkins

Each Thursday in August, instructor Amanda Adkins will guide students, ages 7 – 10, through a different art project!

Students will be working with watercolor,  acrylics, and exploring printmaking. While students learn new skills, students will be encouraged to have fun and express themselves creatively!

Thursdays, November 7 – December 19, 2024 | No class November 28 | 4:30 -6:30 p.m. | 6 Sessions

Class Fee: $150

ART LAB with Luke Ramsey

Science and art collide in this exciting and new after-school class!  Students ages 7 -10 will explore the concept of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) through creative experimentation using a variety of media from paint to ceramics.

Students age 9 – 13.

ZENTANGLE HOLIDAY ORNAMENTS with Suzanne O’Malley

Zentangles are miniature pieces of unplanned, abstract art, created through a very specific method, to form structured patterns. The Zentangle Method is an easy to learn, relaxing & fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns called “tangles.”  This workshop will provide step-by-step instructions on how to create tangles & will then move on to applying them to create holiday ornaments.

 For students ages 8 – 11 yr. All materials supplied.
