2018 Shemer Arizona Arts Festival

THANK YOU to the 1,200 visitors who came to our SHEMER ARIZONA ARTS FESTIVAL November 3 and 4, 2018.  This year’s event would not have been half as successful if it had not been for the participation of the wonderful artists, art organizations, business vendors and celebrities listed below who supported it!  Thank you all very much for your participation and enthusiasm! It was contagious!

ARIZONA ARTISTS: Alix Alejandro, Velma Barder, Roger Bedard, Sandy Blain, Gerri Dames, Hristi Dimitrova Wilson, Allison Echanove, John Erwin, Elliott Everson, Julius Forzano, Jules Gissler, Dave Hanson, Robbie Hopwood, Mabre Lencho-Armstrong, Kara Marshall, Rami Myron, Glennda Neff, Mike Pearson, Fritz Pender, Cheri Reckers, Parris Richie, Don Ridley, Michelle Rodeman and Robert McLeod, Christine Sandifur, Alice Slack, Linda Taylor, Olivia Thomas, Jared Trask and John Tzelepis.

ARIZONA CELEBRITIES: Sam Pillsbury, owner of Arizona’s Pillsbury Wine Co., Robert Melikian, Paul Schaubach and John Jacquemart, authors of “Phoenix Past and Present,” and Karen Randau, author of the Rim Country Mysteries! We also enjoyed visits by Marshall Trimble, Merrill Mahaffey and many members of the Shemer family!

ARIZONA ART ORGANIZATIONS: AZ Clay Association, AZ Glass Alliance and the Scottsdale Bonsai Society, plus The Hills Pre-School and United Art of Arizona!

BUSINESS VENDORS: Renewal by Andersen of Phoenix, Dreamstyle Remodeling, Tony Montagnino of Liberty Mutual, and Destiny’s Psychic.

We would also like to thank the Arcadia Camelback Mountain Neighborhood Association (ACMNA) and the Arcadia Osborn Neighborhood Association (AONA) for holding their annual G.A.I.N Arcadia Neighborhood Picnic on Saturday afternoon, at the same time as our art festival.  We look forward to working with them again!

Last, but not least, thank you, thank you, thank you, to all the volunteers who came this weekend to help! Your assistance was GREATLY needed and appreciated!!!
