Never picked up a brush? Returning to painting after a long time away? Familiar with other kinds of painting but curious about oils? This is your class. Teens to adults who want to learn in an easy, step by step way that isn’t overwhelming, will be introduced to the three primary styles of oil painting. Students will get comfortable handling the tools and materials and may just come away with a new favorite hobby. Students will learn about color, value, shape and all the basic elements of a successful painting. Nothing looks as lustrous or lasts as long as an oil painting. Isn’t it time to make your own masterpiece? Class supplies will be provided for a modest supply fee so trying something new is easy.
