THE ART OF STILL LIFE with Patrice Al-Shatti
Still-life paintings can showcase anything from a vase of flowers to your favorite sneakers. Whether you work realistically or loosely, you will learn all the tricks for making original still-life paintings in oil, acrylic, or watercolor. This class will explore the work of influential artists to spark imagination. Students will learn about lighting and composition, perfect challenging textures, hone photography skills, and stretch themselves with unconventional subject matter in order to create utterly unique works of art that will further develop personal style.
