This course will expand students’ knowledge of abstract painting through the process of working in a series. Students will discover their own unique and original voice while building a body of work. This course will define the concept of working in series exploring repetition, experimentation and thematic cohesion. Students will learn about sequential exploration, motifs, themes and techniques for cohesion and consistency. This is the perfect course for students who have been painting in abstract style for any length of time. This course will use both oils and acrylics.
