The 2025 Art in the Garden Festival was held Saturday, April 5 and Sunday, April 6, with specialty artists and vendors.

Saturday featured our annual Sparkling Tea event, where guests enjoyed a light meal catered by Arcadia Farms under a canopy of colorful umbrellas.

On Sunday, Phoenix Rotary 100 held its second annual TAKE FLIGHT reception celebrating the buyers and artists that participated in their butterfly fundraiser.

It was a beautiful weekend for celebrating spring, Shemer, and our vibrant community of artists and patrons!

Thank you to all of our Festival Artists, Vendors, Volunteers, and Attendees!

Garden-themed fine art by Arizona artists filled our lawn!

The Sparkling Tea is Shemer Art Center’s signature fundraising event on Art in the Garden Saturdays. It’s a great celebration of creativity with guests competing for the most artistic garden hat award!  Attending guests enjoy sparkling waters, wine, an assortment of hot teas, and delicious small bites provided by Arcadia Farms.

This year’s event featured a presentation by painter, John Wassom from The Marshall Gallery, who shared details about his artwork process and philosophy.

Tinker Bell attended this year’s event, turning young artists’ faces into a canvas for beautiful garden-themed art.

On Sunday, Phoenix Rotary 100 hosted its Take Flight fundraiser on our back patio. The handcrafted garden art butterflies could be found around our grounds leading up to the event.

Entertainment for the weekend was provided by musician, Alan Stee.

Shemer instructors provided demonstrations in a variety of techniques and media. Pictured above, Dani Sirrine throwing a flower pot on the wheel.

Attending guests enjoyed viewing our galleries and our exhibition, Birds, Bugs and Botanicals by Arizona artists.
