Below please find a list of our upcoming workshops, scheduled for adults, ages 18+ unless otherwise indicated.

Please be sure to read our registration policy prior to registering for a class.

PAPERMAKING with Larry Nisula

This workshop will provide students with an introduction to the art of papermaking. Students will learn all about the papermaking process, including how the pulp is created, the tools used, process of pulling sheets, and pressing them dry. In addition students will get to experiment with the media, creating pulp painting, watermarks and casting paper in molds. Everyone will go home with several sheets of handmade paper ideal for whatever artistic inspiration may strike!

 Family Fun Night: Block Printed Table Setting with Cassie Wiegmann

Enjoy a fun night filled with creativity and learning with Cassie Wiegmann. In this workshop families will work together to create a one-of-a-kind block printed table setting. This workshop comes just in time for Thanksgiving, offering the opportunities to create original placemats and napkins that will impress all of your guests and be the talk of the dinner table. 

Learn the basics of relief printing using linoleum blocks. Students will be introduced to the techniques of printmaking, learning the basics as well as some advanced techniques.  All materials will be provided, only a willingness to try something new is required! Whether you are an experienced printmaker, or never held a brayer before, it’s all about family, fun and creating art and memories together!

VIRTUAL CLASS – Wine & Watercolor with Julie Gilbert Pollard

Join us virtually for a fun night of watercolor painting with Julie Gilbert Pollard. You’ll enjoy this light hearted class from the comfort of your own home. You can expect to end the class with at least one beautiful, completed painting!

This class will introduce students to the different techniques of watercolor painting.  You’ll learn the basics as well as some advanced techniques as you continue attending this fun-filled event. Only a willingness to try something new is required!

Acrylic Pour with Bela Fidel

In this workshop, students will learn that acrylic is a versatile medium which lends itself to surprising effects. Acrylic Pour and the various techniques used with this medium are conducive to creating exciting, beautiful surprises. There will be a focus on the “dirty pour” technique which allows for tons of fun and happy accidents! Come have fun!

WINE & WATERCOLOR with John Erwin

ZENTANGLE MOTHS & BUTTERFLIES with Suzanne O’Malley

Zentangles are miniature pieces of unplanned, abstract art, created through a very specific method, to form structured patterns. The Zentangle Method is an easy to learn, relaxing & fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns called “tangles.”  This workshop will provide step-by-step instructions on how to create tangles & will then move on to applying them to create moths and butterflies.

 All materials supplied & all levels welcome.

Enjoy a fun night filled with creativity and learning with Cassie Wiegmann. In this workshop students will learn about the fun effects of Gelli printing, creating original holiday cards just in time for the holidays!

Learn the basics of Gelli printing using snowflake stencils, texture tools, collage effects and so much more. MINIATURE IKEBANA with Ping Wei

Miniature ikebana was first introduced by the second head master of Sogetsu school Ikebana, Kasumi Teshigahara. It is composed of several ikebana works that feature particular, small parts of plants.
In this workshop students will observe carefully the different parts of the plant including its petals, pistils and stamen, fruits, leaves, branches and stems, to make new discoveries of their distinctive appearance.
Learn a new technique for flower arranging just in time to impress your family and friends with your holiday table decor. Students will have the opportunity to make several Ikebana arrangements (five or more) in this way of careful observation, and learn how to display them on a base plate, a tray, a piece of Japanese paper, or a table center in a way that a movement or a flow is felt by the way they are arranged.
Flowers and set of five small ceramic containers by artist instructor Ping Wei will be provided for you (a value of $60) to keep.

Family Fun Night: Explosion Books with Cassie Wiegmann

Enjoy a fun night filled with creativity and learning with Cassie Wiegmann. In this workshop students will create original explosion books representative of their personalities and passions, full of hand-printed artwork, collaged keepsakes and a wide variety of media. 

Learn the basics of bookmaking, gelli printing and collage. Students will are invited to bring keepsakes, photos, cards to incorporate into their books.  All materials will be provided, only a willingness to try something new is required! This class is all about family, fun and creating art and memories together!
