Clay Soirée: Casserole Dishes with Dani Sirrine

Enjoy an evening of creativity with Dani Sirrine creating a beautiful personalized casserole dish, just in time for the holiday season! Students will be surprised by what they can create using clay and artistry in just a couple hours! This quick hand-building project will amaze you with its simplicity, and have you excited to make more ceramic works!

The workshop will end with a finished work of art; students will be able to select a glaze from a range of options selected by the instructor, who will apply the glaze and fire the dish for you. Upon completion, students will receive an email about when their finished artwork can be picked up.

Watercolor Pour with Suzanne O’Malley

Watercolor pouring is a captivating and experimental method that invites artists to relinquish some control while producing astonishingly beautiful results. By leveraging the power of gravity and fluid dynamic, artists can create unique compositions that capture the essence of the medium.  In this two day workshop, students will learn how to achieve rich, saturated color using watercolor.  Demonstrations in this workshop will include laying and masking techniques.  Students will learn how to sketch and mask their subject matter before pouring the watercolors.  While the watercolor is wet, students will manipulate the colors and textures by pressing in leaves or other materials to vary the effect.  Various images will be provided but students are welcome to bring their own source material.

Illuminated Letters with Suzanne O’Malley

Illuminated letters are ornately decorated initials with vibrant colors and ornate patterns, often gilded with gold or silver to light up the page. This workshop will focus on creating unique illuminated letter designs using zentangle techniques. Zentangles are miniature pieces of unplanned, abstract art, created through a specific method to form structured patterns on a square paper tile.  Students in this workshop will enjoy escaping the world for a while as they create patterns and designs they never thought possible!

Oil and Cold Wax with Bela Fidel

Ready to loosen up and let your creativity flow? Join us for a relaxed, hands-on workshop and dive into the lush world of cold wax and oil paints. Cold wax medium is a buttery, beeswax-based paste that mingles beautifully with oil colors. The moment you blend the two, the magic begins: rich textures, soft translucence, and velvety layers that seem to glow from within. It encourages experimentation—scraping back, adding layers, embedding marks and collage—all without the long drying times or rigid rules of traditional oil painting. No previous experience needed, this class will guide you through simple techniques for mixing, spreading, and layering, then let you follow your own creative instincts. Discover how cold wax can create dreamy, matte surfaces that invite touch, build depth with subtle veils of color, and capture spontaneous textures—from smooth sweeps to rugged, weathered effects.

Create Copper Flowers with Joey Melinda Morgan

A flower that will last forever! Learn how to create a beautiful, handcrafted flower using copper. Students will utilize essential metalworking techniques such as cutting, forming, and texturing. They will also explore different patina techniques including torching, blending pre-mixed patina stains, and incorporating pearlescent mica powders. Patina finishes add color, depth, and enhance texture to give your flower a one-of-a kind appearance.

This workshop offers a perfect blend of creativity and craftmanship. The entire process is safe and can be easily recreated at home. Walk away with your own copper flower sculpture and then decide whether it will be yard art, home decor, or a gift!

Wine & Watercolor with John Erwin

Join us for a fun night of watercolor painting with John Erwin and you’ll be surprised what you can learn in just a few creative hours! Enjoy the comfortable atmosphere of this light-hearted class, and leave with at least one beautiful, completed painting!

This is a continuous class; each month you will be introduced to the techniques of watercolor painting. You’ll learn the basics as well as some advanced techniques as you continue attending. All supplies will be provided. Only a willingness to try something new is required!
