DW-92-22 Building a Body of Work in Ceramics with Danielle Wood*



In this class, new techniques and methods of handbuilding will be introduced.  Students wanting to continue learning more about clay and building upon their handbuilding knowledge and techniques are invited to the class.  As well as students that have projects in mind and want to explore different techniques that can be explored with their body of work or wanting to be in a community of sculptors building their artwork.  In this class, students will have the opportunity to explore pinch pots, coil pots, pillow pieces for the wall or pedestal, as well as press molds, decals, and luster.  Students can continue to build a solid foundation in handbuilding in this class and explore a variety of different techniques to add to their ceramic sculpting style experimenting with different techniques.

Skill Level: Some Ceramic Encouraged

* this class is available for both virtual and in person students 

Clay Request: *If clay is not requested it will be assumed that no clay is needed and none will be brought to class!

**Masks are no longer required in classes but are encouraged for those who feel most comfortable continuing to wear them.
