CONTEMPORARY ENVIRONMENTAL ARTISTS

Roger Asay and Rebecca Davis

Tuesday, October 12, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

The collaborative work Robert and Rebecca have done since 1983 has attempted to bring viewers into direct, intense contact with the raw materials of nature, so that they can come to see themselves as part of the seamless continuity of the natural world.

In this Artist Cafe, the collaborative artists will discuss their works and how they draw upon the raw matter of nature. Their work is very much about the material; it is the subject of their work, presented unencumbered to create a direct and pure visual experience.
