EMD-4 Kids Art After School with Emily Dygert
Welcome to our Kids Art After School Program! Our wonderful teaching artist, Emily Dygert, who has been working in the classroom for over 12 years, and in the field as a professional artist for almost 20, is well-known for using dynamic and interesting materials to create her work as well as in her kids art projects!! She strives to awaken the individual creativity of each one of her students, inspiring to look beyond what is normally considered Art and to think outside the box toward what fun and interesting materials can used to make Art!
Over this four-week course we invite your pint-size Picassos to participate in creating functional duct tape art, multi media collage, works from natural earthen red clay, and the final week we will be creating something unique, using both natural and recycled materials, as well as vegetable based paint!!
