Exploring Handbuilding and Glaze with Danielle Wood 

In this class students will have the opportunity to continue to build a foundation in hand building techniques such as coiling, slab sculpture, creating forms with pinch pots, press molds, drape molds, slump molds, and a variety of other forms. The students will also be encouraged to explore color and experiment with cone 5 & 6 glazes, crystalline glazes, crawl/textured glazes, and lusters. We can explore creating forms to test glaze and potentially have 10-15 different combinations of glazes created by the end of the session that each student can create their own color palette for their work. Skill Level: Some Ceramic Experience Encouraged
