Artists of the Desert: Fall Break Camp

Calling all aspiring artists ages 8-13!  Come and let your creativity bloom in this four-day, desert-themed art camp at the Shemer Art Center.

Students will learn, create and have fun over three days of lessons in printmaking, painting, drawing and sculpture.  Students will create a variety of projects in different media all inspired by the landscapes, animals and cultures of the Sonoran Desert. In this camp students will learn about famous artists like Georgia O’Keeffe and Ugo Rondinone, as well as the traditions of indigenous artists.

All materials will be included.  Students should bring an afternoon snack & water bottle.
