For our 40th annual New Horizons high school art exhibition, high schools throughout Maricopa County were invited to submit two works of art by exceptional student artists. This year’s exhibition showcased 46 high schools and 89 works. At our New Horizons Award Ceremony, held Saturday, January 25th, a total of 88 awards were presented to 51 students, totaling $5,400. These awards were made possible thanks to generous community donors, including the Shemer Art Center! THANK YOU to all the students, teachers and donors who made this year’s exhibition an artful success!

Volunteers, Berta Holland and Cathy Bennett served refreshments at the award ceremony.

Teachers, students and their families gathered for the award ceremony on the Shemer front lawn.
