THANK YOU to everyone who attended Art in the Garden 2021! What an incredible show of support the Shemer Art Center and our participating Arizona artists received at the event, held Saturday, April 10th. We had over 20 Arizona artists showcasing the latest in painting, drawings, mosaics, glass, ceramics, wood metal and wearable art, as well as our garden art raffle and live music by Alan Jones, a ceramics instructor at the Shemer Art Center.
We were blessed with a great combination of weather and artwork, and the segments on Channel 3 that morning were also great, thanks to Dave, The Garden Guy, who we found out actually helped pick some of the trees for the Shemer a long time ago! We would like to thank the artists who participated in the segments (thank you John Erwin and Chelsie Tamala!) The event was very successful, especially considering we had less than five weeks notice for planning!
