DW-83-21 Building a Body of Work in Ceramics with Danielle Wood*

In this class, students will continue to develop and refine their work in clay using a variety of ceramics techniques and tools.  This is an excellent opportunity to focus on a body of work while learning new techniques in handbuilding, sculpting, and color.  Each class will have demonstrations, individual one-one-one and group discussions.  Danielle will discuss handbuilding techniques including pinch pots, coiling, mold making, slab-build projects, and many more.  Glaze and color will also be discussed and explored.  Cone 5 glazes, additive texture, color such as decals, luster, and paper transfers will be explored.  Bring your creativity!
