DW-59-20 Building a Body of Work in Ceramics with Danielle Wood

In this class, students will be encouraged to focus on a body of work, exploring themes and forms they like to use for their ceramic artwork. A variety of different handbuilding ideas and techniques will be presented each class. Students can bring a work in progress, come with a project in mind or try a new technique in class.

The students will have the opportunity to try out different different forms using slab work, coiling, pinch pots, press molds, drape and slump molds. Students will have the opportunity to work with cone 5 glazes, paper transfers, decals and lusters.
