Class Registration

DW-49-19 Wheel-Throwing & Handbuilding Ceramics Open Studio with Danielle Wood

Students will continue to develop and refine their work and techniques in clay, using a variety of techniques and tools. This is an excellent class for students to focus on their own body of work while learning new techniques in hand-building and wheel-throwing, sculpting, and color in each class. There will be demonstrations in each class, individual one-on-one and group discussions.

This class will focus on hand-building techniques including pinch pots, coiling, mold making, slab-built projects, and many more types of techniques. Glaze and color will also be discussed and explored in this class. Cone 5 glazes, additive texture, color such as decals, luster, paper transfers, and print making will be explored in class. Students should bring their creativity!
