WORLD BUILDING & CHARACTER DESIGN with Turner Davis

In this class designed for teens students will learn all about “Concept Art,” which is essentially centered around the art practice of “world building.”  In this class students will be challenged to explore the various components of “Concept Art” designing characters, creatures and machines, and integrating those components into an imaginary environmental/context or “world.” Students will then focus on ways these components can be coherently integrated together utilizing different rendering techniques and furthering their formal understanding of visual creation.

Open to ages 10 and up

Saturdays, July 8 – July 29, 2023 | 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. | 4 Sessions

Class Fee: $100

Materials Fee: $10 paid to instructor on first day of class
