Illuminated letters are ornately decorated initials using vibrant colors, ornate patterns, and often gilded with gold or silver to light up the page. This workshop will focus on creating unique illuminated letter designs using zentangle techniques to create detailed designs. Zentangles are miniature pieces of unplanned, abstract art, created through a very specific method, to form structured patterns on a square paper tile.  Students in this workshop will enjoy escaping the world for a while as they create patterns and designs they never thought possible!
