If you ever wanted to learn how to paint a striking single bloom that glows with light and dances with movement, this is your opportunity. Students will paint one beautiful Daylily but will also review basic techniques to move the paint in subtle gradients just right for the expression of petals and leaves, explore how transparent pigments build the image’s inner glow, and be inspired by the work of artists who have perfected this subject matter. Watercolor experience is helpful but not necessary.
